Hello all,

I'm new on 3DCoat, I've just bought the educational version. I've started to learn voxel/surface room and I wanted to publish my first works.

 

 

 

 

This last isn't finished. I try to make an orc with armor and weapons.

I think you are a 'natural'. Good start!

Cool stuff man, I like the machine a lot!  I also like the orc,  Remember to keep you polycount low initially.  

 

You could probably manage that with 100k mesh in surface mode and then use crease clay to make your sharp edges.  It'll be a lot easier to smooth out some of those lumpy spots if you do that.

Thanks a lot for the tips. The orc already counts more than 5 millions, I will decrease the mesh. I think I could add more details after retopology by painting displacement.

All this models aren't finished, these are just some tests for learning sculpting.

I start to add some pieces of cloth to the orc.

Tres Bien! Superb way to kick off becoming a member of the 3DC forums. Like the engine a lot and the orc is coming along nicely.
