I'm not trying to be coy or anything, but you don't drive the vehicle while you have it in the shop, do you? I think we should hold off on feature requests until it's determined that 3D Coat has reached a reasonable level of stability. Right now it's far from it...and people wonder why I get a bit agitated here sometimes. I'm running into anywhere from 1-5 bugs a day, and it's become a full time job, nearly, just reporting them. There is a handful more that I just don't have enough time to bother with. The LAST thing 3DC needs, at this stage, is more stuff...to break.

I have a bunch of things I would like to request, too, but I know it's better to hold off for a bit...and let Andrew get the stability issues under control first.

I fully agree with you. Now is time for stability. And Andrew is working hard in that area. My intention with this list was to organize feature requests. To help users and Andrew

to see what feature requests there is and how popular they are. But I understood that there is a lot of work if I want to do this right, so maybe I will leave this for now.

I didn't do this list because I want more features. Just to organize things...

Thanks Taros. Now the list is updated. There is some requests from the forum section. Not all, but some.

This is not official list, but I have tried my best to include most famous requests. If you feel that there

is feature missing you can write it here. Now the list is in top rank order.

Unity game engine has been using this voting service called User Voice to gather and measure user feedback. It's been very popular there. Maybe it would be good for here too.

I just bought 3D Coat a few days ago and the most limiting missing feature to me is the lack of radial symmetry, so that would be my top wish for a future upgrade. Overall it looks like a great app and I'm very glad I bought it. :)

I am not sure how this works but +1 vote for "Resource system/Sub folders update" as it would make using resources much better.

The reason why is i think it would be much nicer having access to the normal brush and texture folders that i usually use with other programs and not having to worry about adding each folder at a time etc. I don't know why the system is different to a regular folder listing with sub folders already but i don't like the way it works much currently as it's slow and annoying to add new content and also un-organized but this suggestion would fix that and improve things greatly in my opinion.

Hello,

personally I would love to see Acropora-like ( www.voxelogic.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=30&Itemid=30 ) voxel perturbators.

Fractals/gradients/voronoi, perlin.. they looks like a must to any serious big scale, complex , organic modeling arsenal.

it would be great to be able to generate on the fly natural scenarios and then go in and tweak stuff the usual way...

or vice-versa, build precise shapes and then be able to powerfully modify them... think about noise + gradients.. you can do amazing things.

(btw... that company looks very small.... just saying..)

Keeping this list updated is quite a difficult task. It takes quite a lot time to update all requests. Also I'm not quite sure if having this list benefits no one in the end.

The list is good way to see what requests are most wanted, but that's all. I might do it at some point but no promises when :)

We have the ability to post requests on Mantis, now....so a separate list really isn't necessary, anymore.

Hi @Carlosan @Andrew Shpagin and team 

Lately I  have been using a Windows tablet for sculpting. It supports navigation and control  in the viewport via gestures and touches, it works perfectly in 3D coat (you can zoom in the canvas, pan, rotate, etc) 

I was wondering will it be possible to implement a similar api that can achieve the same results for a touchpad for example a Wacom pen & touch

I think having something like this would a great alternative to a 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse
