Contributor Michaelgdrs Posted March 7, 2016 Contributor Report Share Posted March 7, 2016 Hello to all. Super SOS urgent etc etc. I am in the middle of deadline , today we had retopo and auto retopo scheduled. Finished with retopo and i got into auto retopo assets. And i found out that autoretopo paint density colour is BLACK , and after this stage you see nothing so you can paint the quide lines. Questions 1) Can we change it? The colour meaning. Cant find anything , maybe its from the stroke lol. Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance Michael.

Contributor ajz3d Posted March 7, 2016 Contributor Report Share Posted March 7, 2016 I'm not near the computer now, so I cannot verify this, but have you tried applying PicMat to your object and then pressing '1' for relief map? Some old shaders displayed selection as heat map in this mode.
Reputable Contributor Solution digman Posted March 7, 2016 Reputable Contributor Solution Report Share Posted March 7, 2016 (edited) Ajz3d is correct but there is no need to select relief shade under the view menu. 4.5.30 Use PicMat_Clay. I also deselect cavity and flat shading in the shader's editing panel.. In fact I save my own Picmat clay shader without cavity and flat shading as it is my favorite shader to sculpt with... You can always switch back to your original shader once you are happy with the autopo outcome. 4.25.28. No adjusting of the PicMat_Clay is necessary, use as is... Javis
Yeah it is dependant upon the shader you use. So like David said, try using a different shader in the mean time. That said I would report this bug to Andrew so it gets fixed. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
Contributor ajz3d Posted March 7, 2016 Contributor Report Share Posted March 7, 2016 BTW, you can draw strokes before painting density.

A psychologist would have fun with that statement. BTW, I think you guessed right.
