Very realistic crisp details and those cuts sent shivers down my spine. :)

Thanks I use Blender 3d for the animation and Cycles for the rendering

Here is another creepy creature I start the sculpt in Blender 3d

the rest of the details was done in 3d Coat 

 

The animation and rendering was in blender 3d with awesome Cycles engine.

Very nice stuff.  How much of this was 3D Coat?

I start the head in 3d coat the half of the torso and the textures was in 3d coat

I'd reply sooner if embedded videos showed up in e-mail notifications on my phone...

This is really good stuff, Juan. How did you do the stretchy saliva? Stretchy joints? Mesh bound to hair system (or Blender's equivalent to it)? Or some other solution?

This is really good stuff, Juan. How did you do the stretchy saliva? Stretchy joints? Mesh bound to hair system (or Blender's equivalent to it)? Or some other solution?

Thanks ajz3d the saliva was done using a Bezier Curve and both corners was attach to two Hooks.

Very nice. Rendered again in blender cycles?

How about the textures? Vertex colors or uv painted?

Thanks, they are all painted with vertex colors and render in 3d coat the rest background and color correction is Photoshop.
