Advanced Member Paint Guy Posted September 2, 2009 Advanced Member Share Posted September 2, 2009 There are three different muscle types you can select in top menue...second one is what you want... Thanks, I will have a look! "Rasp-file tool done. It looks closely to 2D-paint nut acts as rasp-file. Inverse action - filling holes under plane."about 9 hours ago from TweetDeck... Andrew would it be possible to give us a preview of the new tools/functions you create (like rasp tool) by taking a screenshot and posting it here. Contributor Klaus Nordby Posted September 2, 2009 Contributor Share Posted September 2, 2009 Your new rasp-file is GREAT! I need it NOW. :-) And while I agree with others that "Toothpaste" is a splendid name for that tool, I don't think that "Rasp-file" is such a good name . . . "Flattener"? "Leveller"? Javis
That Rasp tool is looking sharp! (Pun intended) I can't wait to test it out. Link to comment https://3dcoat.com/forum/index.php?/topic/3594-3d-coat-31-updates-thread/page/7/#findComment-28498 Share on other sites
philnolan3d
Rasp looks cool! I used to do some of the same stuff with 2D Paint, but this works much better for that purpose. philnolan3d
Oh wow I didn't realize that tool's name is rasp-file, I thought it was just Rasp until I checked my Twitter feed. I don't think that works at all. It sounds like it does something with the .3B file or something and I think would be confusing. Perhaps Sliver or Slice? Javis
I think Rasp (no "file") alone would work. Link to comment https://3dcoat.com/forum/index.php?/topic/3594-3d-coat-31-updates-thread/page/7/#findComment-28505 Share on other sites
Contributor LJB Posted September 2, 2009 Contributor Share Posted September 2, 2009 Maybe Vox Plane would be a more appropriate Name, A Rasp is a course Grating file that would not create a smooth surface like that. True of course! But in 3DC it is all dependent upon your pen alpha, so you could have a rough surface or smooth.
